Red Sox fans are among the most loyal in the world, and Fenway park is among the most iconic, popular, and visited ball parks anywhere else. Despite Fenway being the oldest field in the MLB, it is also easily the most attended as the Red Sox have sold out every scheduled game since 2003. Features like the infamous Green Monster, Pesky's Pole, and "The Triangle" have added more excitement and unpredictability than any other stadium in the league, and has made for extremely entertaining games.
Fenway Park was built in 1912 and first became the playground of one George Herman Ruth, Jr., who honed his hitting and pitching skills at Fenway. "Williamsburg", the bullpen in right center field, was built to produce more home runs from left handed hitters like Ted Williams, and The Lone Red Seat in the right field bleachers the farthest home run hit in Fenway, which was hit by Williams. Although Fenway has been updated over the years to stay modern, many of the classic and nostalgic elements of the park have been left intact as parts of Red Sox history. Tickets sell out every game, not only because of fans' love for the Red Sox, but also because Fenway Park has become a major part of the town and baseball in general.
Even in the off-season, Fenway Park hosts some talented entertainers and musicians, so check the schedule above to see what games and events are upcoming and buy your tickets on Eventful.
